How to Create an Account
Register, get a user profile and/or log in
- Click on Sign In
- Choose to use your (gmail or facebook) account, or provide an email and password
- Receive an email, with your password
- Receive a registration confirmation email
- Click on the link in the email confirmation and you’ll be logged in
How to Add Your Black-Owned Business
- Click Add Business
- Choose the Sector (Category) your Black-Owned business is in
- Choose the Industry (Sub-Category) your Black-Owned business is in
- Complete and Submit the form
- Choose a package (Free or Paid)
- Receive an email, confirming the moderation and approval of your business listing
- View your listing, receive email messages (enquiries) and reviews about your business
How to Find and Support Your Own…
Search and find a Black-Owned business, by specifying
- Keywords;
- Location;
- Use the following to refine your search:
- Black-Owned;
- Business Status (Formalised/Informal);
- Women-Owned;
- Youth-Owned; and
- Footprint (Provincial Presence).
- Select and interact with a specific Black-Owned business (message, review, favour, claim, report, etc…).

What is Not Allowed
Please note even though the platform will allow you to list your entity, we conduct manual reviews of all submissions, which allows us to guard against the following:
- Duplicate listings i.e., a business listing with your business name has already been listed
- If you find a business listing with your business name, you can:
- Contact the listed business and clear the mistake e.g. use your CIPC registration to prove that your entity is the rightful owner of the business name; and/or
- Claim the listing and update the details accordingly.
- If you find a business listing with your business name, you can:
- Suspicious listings
- Bot generated listings
- Listings that promote the following:
- Prostitution and/or Pornography
- Ponzi and/or pyramid schemes
- Extravagant claims and/or “guarantees” of income
- Reviews that contain extreme profanity
