Black Source
Black Source is a platform that makes it that much easier to find Black-Owned businesses, and also link them to intentional supporters thereof. This platform is tender oblivious but will also be a source for those that need Black-Owned businesses, in order to conform to specific tender requirements. It does not discriminate Black-Owned businesses on the basis of formalisation i.e. registered with the likes of CIPC, etc… It creates an environment wherein Black-Owned businesses can source from other Black-Owned businesses and can be accessed and sourced from; by those that are intentional about their support.
Our objectives:
- Take care of our own because charity does begin at home.
- Enable the appreciation of our local Black-Owned businesses.
- Provide an environment that enables networking and collaboration amongst our Black-Owned businesses.
- Build a community of Black-Owned businesses.
Point to Note!
A Black-Owned business that does not have its own website can use its Black Source listing link/URL (i.e. www.blacksource.org/listing/yourlistingname) as its own website. This will provide all Black Source-listed Black-Owned businesses an internet presence and more visibility.
